My Role:

• Authored the Recovery section, synthesizing data and best practices into accessible guidance for business owners.

• Formatted and assembled the full CEDS publication in Adobe InDesign, ensuring cohesive structure and professional presentation.

• Edited for clarity, consistency, and tone across sections, aligning content with regional and federal EDA standards.

• Designed data visualizations and standardized tables to make complex datasets accessible to policymakers and stakeholders.

• Collaborated with regional partners to verify data accuracy and ensure thorough, representative depiction of the Central Sierra region.

California Cooperative Rice Research Foundation // Jan 2019 - Jan 2021 // approx. 65 pages

A series of annual reports detailing ongoing agricultural research and breeding developments at the Rice Experiment Station. Each publication documents methodologies, findings, and recommendations for long-, medium-, and short-grain rice varieties.

My Role:

• Copy edited annual reports for accuracy, clarity, and consistency in scientific language and presentation.

• Standardized figures, tables, and captions for uniform formatting across publications.
