Ben Vandersluis

Ben is a wordsmith and document designer living in Northern California, where the wildfires are too frequent and the rain too scarce. His professional experience includes writing (numerous genres, formal and informal), editing, page layout and formatting, data visualization and analysis, and basic graphic design. Fiction notwithstanding (see Literary Publishing), most of Ben's editorial experience is in formal nonfiction: reports for public-sector, non-profit, and scientific audiences, as well as biographical works for a local author.

Outside of work, Ben is an avid fan of horror entertainment and craft beer, sometimes both at once. He enjoys cooking, card games, long hikes, and ambient music. He lives with his wife, son, and cat in Chico.
